Not very happy with the advice given to me for my custody and contempt case. I was hoping to have Kerri file contempt for me but I was told to save money by doing it myself or to wait until there is a custody dispute to bring up the contempt allegations. I tried filing contempt myself and was denied because my form did not have a purge order or an exact recommendation for the court to do to help with the contempt. Basically I should have put that I was asking for jail time or a money fine and I did ask the judge to fine her and give her a warning but I was denied.

I spent $300 to Kerri and could really use that money somewhere else. She was very alert, professional, and listening but I think she gave me the wrong advice not to go with a lawyer for my particular scenario.
